Within the Midwestern Region of the American Music Therapy Association, MWRAMTAS will strive to increase awareness, involvement, and knowledge of music therapy students at the local, regional, and national levels by communicating education needs, fostering professional growth, and representing MWRAMTAS music therapy students in preparation for their professional careers.

Through this website and other online resources, we hope to further provide both students and professionals with tools that will allow for them to continue developing the foundation of knowledge they have established thus far, so that they may continue to grow and develop along side the role of music therapy in our growing world.

We not only look to provide resources for individual growth, but we also wish to serve as a channel through which students and professionals across our region can be connected with one another. In order to make the most of these resources we encourage you to get involved at the regional level.  Some ways to get involved are as follows:

• Become a school representative to the executive board

• Become an officer on the regional executive board

• Becoming an active student member of MWRAMTAS and sharing important student issues
